Hohoe Horror (A Requiem Response)

You have written
About what you know not
Ignorant to the actual facts
You still ignominiously ignore them

Hastily putting pen to paper
To muddy another man's name

Will you go to Iraq and provoke them?
Will you go to Iran and provoke them?
Will you tell them that they own not their land?
Will you ignore being in Rome and doing as Romans do?
Will the God who created all lands and gave them--tell the Israelite to let in
Others to come, stay and ignore their custom and do as they please?
Shouldn't they rather be humble like strangers and be peaceful as they profess to be?

Wobbling, weak-kneed writer;
Think, think, and think deep, before you write…….

NB: This poetry piece was immediately written in response to a requiem on the Hohoe clashes. While the writer made some good points in one his articles on the clashes, I think his requiem is, however, hogwash. I take it that he wasn't and isn't privy to certain facts about the clashes in Hohoe; its direct and indirect causes.
