Ato Ahwoi considers suit against NPPs John Kumah

Presidential adviser, Mr. Ato Ahwoi, is considering legal action against Mr. John Kumah, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist whose comments are deemed suggestive of homosexuality against him.

John Kumah reacting to a homosexual allegation against a leading member of the NPP on Asempa FM Saturday, said that both President Mills and Mr. Ahwoi shared the same room a situation he claimed had left the President's wife to seek solace in pets.

He was subsequently arrested on Wednesday during a radio discussion on Hot FM, but was released on the orders of the president.

The police administration has declined further comment on the matter.

Meanwhile, Mr Kumah has insisted he did nothing wrong.

However, according to Joy News sources, Mr. Ahwoi is interested in taking the matter to court to clear his image.

He is reported to have said he does not feel obliged to go along with the president’s position on the matter.
