THERE HAVE been mixed reactions to the governing party's setting the records straight forum.
The forum was initiated as part of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication machinery to win the 2008 elections while in opposition.
It has been reintroduced to tell the full story of government's achievements over the last three years.
Appearing on the maiden edition of this election year's edition, Deputy Finance Minister, Fiifi Kwetey claimed the NDC administration under President John Mills had performed better than the NPP did in eight years.
'I doubt if this will really serve a great purpose for the NDC as a political party in the sense that we are now in the saddle and everybody is expecting to see the delivery of results, so to say you are going to set the record straight in my opinion means that there are some records which people are twisting and that is why you are coming to set it straight,' he remarked.
