Postpartum hair loss, which affects many new mothers, began to afflict Blair three months after she gave birth to baby Arthur.
And the Legally Blonde actress spoke out about the problem at the time to People magazine.

She said: ''This is so not glamorous, but it’s true: I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain,' she tells People magazine.

She continued: 'It just started falling out at the three-month mark. And I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald!'

Many new mothers experience hormonal hair loss as a result of declining estrogen levels.
Luckily for Blair, the problem commonly begins around four months after giving birth and usually subsides by around the six month mark.
And the actress, whose partner is fashion designer Jason Bleick, is reveling in her role as mother, regardless of the side effects.
