Gangsta’s Paradise rapper Coolio is not having the best time of his life since he is in jail , his eldest son Grtis Ivey is going to similar circumstances, what did he do? what are the charges on him? Who is Grtis Ivey and who is his mother?

48 year-old rapper Coolio whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr. was arrested today in Las Vegas on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an illegal stop and driving without a license  in June 2010.

He is at hauled to Clark County Detention Center the same center where his son Grtis Ivey is for his own actions, however his father’s bail has been set at $5.850 Grtis is being held without bail he is due to face a judge on Monday. So what are the charges on little Coolio?

Today Grtis is 22, but a few years ago he starred in his father’s show Coolio Roles by Oxygen, his three youngers brother however refused to be on the show but he his older sisters 24 year-old Jarez and 23 year-old Artisha were there so his youngest sister Brandi who is 3  years younger than him. Like his famous father Artis the name he used on the show is a rapper he released a music album, he appeared on his dad’s music video “Boyfriend”, but I am not sure what happened after that he certainly got himself some bad company because his friend a call girl Shantrice Wilkerson who met a guy identified as Joseph Hall whop  hooked up with Wilkerson who told him she wanted to have sex  on top of money, so he said  ..are $5.000 enough? she said …. let’s do it! Hall took the girl to his place (he didn’t know she was a call girl) grabbed the money from the safe and when to her place, but before things got stated she asked him to pay her, he chocked and left.

Shantrice told Grtis about the guy and the money so they planned to robbed him, as so it was 3 days later Grtis and Shantrice arrived at Hall’s place, where  Ivey holding a gun send Hall’s roommate into the bathroom,  He and the girl robbed 2 iPads, 2 laptops, passports and other valuable things they could grabbed.

The roommate however was able to identified Grtis and the call girl, police arrested and charged them with first degree kidnapping and grand larceny, Grtis denied bringing a gun to Hall’s place but Wilkerson admit about stealing some things.
