Reese Witherspoon’s dad John Draper Witherspoon Sr. is being sued by Reese mother Betty Witherspoon, after he tied the knot with Tricianne Taylor without being completely divorce from Betty. Want to know more about this scandal and about Mr. Witherspoon?

 

70 year-old John Draper Witherspoon Sr a former Lieutenant in the U. S Army Reserves and a otolaryngologist from Georgia and University of Tennessee Health Science Center graduate, he got married to Mary Elizabeth “Betty” 42 years ago.

According to Betty, alcohol abuse, spending too much and hoarding cause friction in their marriage and they split up sometime around 1996. But they never got divorce. The couple have two children John Jr. ( who was arrested for sexual assault) and Reese.

Which is quite an inconvenient regarding the nuptial with his new wife 60 year-old Tricianne Taylor, (Check here to read her bio) John and Taylor got married this January, Betty was in shocked when she found out, she confronted her husband who she still loves.

But when she asked him about Taylor and his marriage he was clueless.

“When I confronted my husband, he said he didn’t know who Tricianne Taylor was and that he did not remember getting married,”

According to John’s real wife [Betty], she tried to talk to Taylor but she refuse to talk to her nor did she responded to the letter she send, Betty also thinks Mr. Witherspoon might be suffering from early-onset dementia, Taylor already got John into changing his will, she is leaving in a condo owned by Reese and Betty fears the worst is yet to come..

“I also fear for my husband’s personal safety and the safety of my family,”

John Witherspoon and Taylor were sued in a lawsuit that accuses them of bigamy and wants to have his new marriage to Tricianne  annulled, plus Betty got  a restraining order against John and Tricianne aka Tricianna Patricia Taylor, that banned her from getting any kind of credit as Mrs. Witherspoon..

“You are hereby enjoined and restrained from using or attempting to use the last name Witherspoon for any purpose. “You are further enjoined and restrained from obtaining credit or attempting to obtain credit posing as the wife of Dr. John Draper Witherspoon. You are further enjoined and restrained from taking, sequestering, or converting any personal property owned by Dr. John Draper Witherspoon, or acquired by him at any time.”
