GHANA - NEW YORK EXPO 2012 LAUNCHED IN GRAND STYLE IN GHANA

Malaika Media Network (Ghana branch) on 3rd of July 2012 announced the launch of the first Ghana-New York Expo event which will be coming on in a city in the Westchester, county of New York.

The Ghana- New York Expo, set for September 14-18, 2012, will be a multi-faceted event open to the public, which will provide families, Exibitors, Musicians and sport enthusiasts the opportunity to connect to the indigenes, history, technology and prestige of building a good relationship in terms of trade.

The Ghana- New York Expo is a fusion of the top tier of City of Mt. Vernon and Ghana's culture,” said Mr. Innocent Badasu, Ghana's representative for Malaika Media Network said.

As the momentum builds toward the 2012 Ghana-New York Expo in the United States, Circuit of the Americas and indigenes of Mt Vernon looks forward to collaborating with exhibitors to showcase their products, technology, personalities and compelling stories that make up the Expo, he said.

In a speech read on behalf of Mr. Rabbi Kohain Halevi the Executive Director, Panafest Foundation said of the event will throw light on the numerous investment opportunities in this expo and entreated the Ghanaian business community to consider the good relationship between New York (City of Mt. Vernon) and Village of Elmina Atonkwa as sister to collaborate for future development.

Mr. Rabbi Kohain said Mt Vernon has hosted a number of traditional leaders and cultural performing groups and delegations over the years and is poised to rise to another level in hosting this trade expo.

Mr. Innocent Badasu representative of Malaika Media Network in Ghana said the event will be a Durbar of Chiefs, International trade conference, International Music and Fashion show, Interdenominational Church service and customized tours as part of the trade show.

In attendance were a cross section of the Ghanaian Media, representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry Ministry, prospective exhibitors and musicians.

According to Mr. Innocent Badasu Ghana New York Expo 2012 is scheduled to coincide with the Arts on Third Festival, Westchester County's Premier Arts and Music Festival.
